Kenneth Kenny Paul O’Dell April 5 1969 July 15 2022

Obituary
Kenneth (Kenny) O’Dell – Passed away on the afternoon of July 15, 2022 in the comfort of his home in Antler Lake, Alberta.
Ken was born in Corner Brook Newfoundland in 1969 to Cecil and Linda. While just a teenager Ken would meet the love of his life, and future wife Kim Hynes. They would go on to have one child Michael, in 1993, and marry the following year. Ken worked a variety of jobs until 1996, and then he moved to Alberta with his family. Ken had planned to work in Alberta to support building a house in Newfoundland, with all intentions of living there. However, after building his home, he decided to stay in Alberta to provide a better future for his family.
Ken put family before everything, and ensured his loved ones were taken care of. Ken was an altruistic man who would do anything for the ones he loved. Ken would always be outside, from helping the neighbours to welcoming new families to the area. Ken was a pillar of the community, and always willing to lend a hand. Ken was a man who enjoyed being outdoors; starting projects around his home, gardening, and anything he could to use his tractor.
He will be missed forever by his wife of 28 years, Kim; Child, Michael; Mother, Linda; Sister, Kelly; Niece, Renee; Nephew, Tyler.
Visitation will take place at Country haven funeral home on Tuesday, July 26th, 2022 from the hours of 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
A celebration of life will take place on Wednesday, July 27th, 2022 at 10:30 a.m., at Country Haven Funeral home, with Father Jim Robertson officiating. An interment will follow service at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
