Kenneth Kanner 19392022

Kenneth Kanner
1939-2022
Kenneth “Ken” E. Kanner, 83 of Kenneth
E. Spencer Memorial Home passed away Monday, October 17, 2022 at his
residence with his wife and daughter at his side.
Born in Moncton, he was a son of the late Max and Lillian
(Elliott) Kanner of Upper Coverdale.
Ken proudly worked as a Computer Analyst with
NBTel for 34 years. He volunteered many years for both the
NB Genealogical Society and Computers for Schools. He also
enjoyed taking photos and at any outing, he would be seen with his
camera hanging around his neck.
When 4 o’clock came, that meant happy
hour and you would often find him in the living room with a rye in one
hand and the remote in the other, surrounded by broken computers that
he was fixing!
Ken is survived and missed by his wife Pauline;
daughter Joanne LaPlace (Robin), Moncton; son Craig Kanner (Maria),
Calgary, AB; grandchildren Logan, Rebecca and Rachel; brother James
“Jimmy” Kanner (Marjorie), Quebec and three nieces and
nephews.
The family would also like to express their
gratitude to the staff and residents on F Wing at Spencers for their
excellent care of Ken, particularly the last few weeks.
There will be a graveside service Friday, October
21, 11 am at Five Points Cemetery with Pastor Danny Compton
officiating. Arrangements are in the care of Salisbury
Funeral Home (372-4800).
If desired, memorial donations to a charity of
choice would be appreciated by the family.
