Passed away peacefully at the age of 96 with his family by his side at the Queensway Carleton Hospital on October 30/22.
Beloved husband of the late Audrey Maude Zeran (Nee Shouldice) for 65 years.
Loving father of: late Michael Zeran, Steven Zeran (Kathy Kustra), Shelley Zeran (Gaston Piche) of Longlac Ontario and Gregory Zeran (Katherine O’Mahoney) of Brockville.
Special Grandpa to Michael Gauthier (Julie), Kristina Kustra (Stefan Laroque), Svetlana Zeran (David Statten), Brennan Zeran and Jeremy Zeran, Leah Zeran, Kailey Zeran.
Special Great Grandpa to Caden, Noah and Justin Gauthier (Michael); Eva and Cedric LaRoque (Kristina) and Dagmar (Svetlana)
Dear son of the The Late Wilfred Arthur Zeran and Alice Maude Zeran (Ford)
Dear brother of Joan Faguerson (late Norm), late Jean Manary (late Bud) , late Peggy Kubin (late Stan).
Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Born on a farm near Lunenberg Ontario, Kenneth owned a garage in Avonmore Ontario before moving to Geraldton Ontario with Audrey where he ran a successful dairy for 21 years and raised their family. They returned to Ottawa where he owned & operated a modular home park for 33 years before retiring and spent many happy winters in Clearwater Florida.
Friends may call at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry (315 McLeod St.) on Sunday, November 6, 2022 from 2 to 4pm and on Monday, November 7, 2022 from 10am until time of service in the chapel at 11 o’clock.
