Kelly Wood ( Hal Arthur), age 65, passed away November 6, 2022, in Saint Vincent Hospital, Ottawa.
Born September 14, 1957 in Halifax, N.S., Kelly was predeceased by father Harold, mother Diane, and younger brother Chris. She is survived by sister Dawn (husband Bruce)
Kelly lived across Canada and Germany while growing up in her military family. She settled in Ottawa where a degree in Chemical Engineering, innovative Royal Canadian Mint employment, an intense University of Ottawa research career, and her phenomenal oil painting filled many years.
In 1993 Kelly started signing her paintings with her chosen name.
Interment will be in Brookside Cemetery, Bedford.
Memorial donations may be made to Schizophrenia Society of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society.
