VYSE, Kelly Wayne (October 21, 1967 – March 3, 2022)-
Passed away suddenly, but peacefully, after a courageous struggle with illness, on Thursday, March 3rd, 2022, at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital surrounded by the love of his family Kelly Wayne Vyse a resident of Elizabeth Street, Port Burwell in his 55th year. Born in Tillsonburg, Ontario the son of the late Harley Vyse and the late Jean (Croxford) Vyse. Kelly was a dedicated factory employee at the Livingston’s Industries/ Tillsonburg until its closure. Kelly enjoyed gardening. He worked as a seasonal tobacco worker for many years. He will be remembered as a good person and a man of few words.
Survived by his six brothers and two sisters: Ruth Bridge, Port Dover; Bob Vyse (Karen), Port Burwell; Ken Vyse (Marci), Courtland; Deb (Barry Lemon), Straffordville, Murray Vyse (Gert), Vienna; Paul Vyse (Patricia), Tillsonburg; Kevin Vyse, Vienna; Jeff Vyse (Karen), St. Thomas; also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by his two sisters: Glenda (1968) and Dorene (2009).
Public visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 8th from 9:00 am to 11:00 am in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes- Burial and Cremation Services Inc., 262 Broadway Street, Tillsonburg (519)842-4238. Public Funeral Service to Celebrate Kelly’s Life will be conducted on Tuesday, March 8th, 2022, at 11:00 am by Doris Van Den Eeckhout, L.L.W.L. All attendees must wear a face mask. Interment to follow in the Vyse family plot in the Straffordville Cemetery. Memorial donations in Kelly’s memory are requested to the “Elgin Community Mental Health Foundation”. Friends and relatives may make donations or order flowers or post photos or letters of condolence in sympathy to the family on Kelly’s tribute page at www.verhoevefuneralhomes.com. The Maurice J.
