Kelly Mervin Shiels Wednesday June 1st 2022

Kelly Shiels was born in Tisdale, Saskatchewan at the ST. Therese Hospital, on June 16, 1963 to parents Mervin and Alvina Shiels. He was the youngest of three children.
Kelly grew up on a farm in the Eldersley district. He attended school in Tisdale, graduating from TUCS in 1981. Kelly then went on to attend school at the Kelsey Institute for Farm Parts Marketing. Once he finished school, he worked for his father at Shiels Farm Parts in Tisdale. Kelly worked there until opening his own store in Melfort, in 1986.
Kelly met and married the love of his life Patricia Doyle in 1989. To this union they had their daughter Jenna in 1991 and son Cameron in 1994. Kelly and Patricia celebrated their love and marriage of 33 years this April.
Kelly retired from farm parts and joined his wife in the family business, Comfy Kennels, in 2015. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, coaching his son’s sports teams, fishing and cheering on his favorite teams; the Boston Bruins and Saskatchewan Roughriders.
Kelly is predeceased by his mother Alvina in 2007 and his father-in-law Martin Doyle in 2012.
Left to forever cherish his memory is his loving wife Patricia Shiels, daughter Jenna Shiels and son Cameron Shiels; father Mervin Shiels sisters Diane (Ron) Ukrainetz and Darleen (Wayne) Brown; mother-in-law Flora Doyle; as well as many extended family and friends.
