July 22, 1938 – June 2, 2022
Keith passed away suddenly on June 2, 2022 at Clinton Public Hospital at the age of 83.
Keith was born in Pictou, Nova Scotia, son of John Samuel Talbot and Katherine McIntosh. He held a deep affection and pride for his home town and province. Keith is predeceased by his loving wife Barbara Talbot (Cartwright), his eldest son Scott Talbot, and his brother Bruce Talbot. Keith loved and valued his family. He is survived by his son Mark Talbot (Sharon Thompson), his daughter Katherine Schmidt (Gary Schmidt) and his grandchildren who he dearly cherished. (Amber, Jacob, Sydney, Kurt and Eric.) as well as all of his nieces and nephews in Nova Scotia and the Bahamas. Keith worked for The Royal Bank of Canada for his entire career starting as a teenager and up until his retirement. His career resulted in postings in the Dominican Republic, Peru, Venezuela, Montreal, Colombia, Nassau, Miami and Toronto. He and Barbara enjoyed seeing the world together and met many lifelong friends along the way. After retirement Keith moved to Clinton, Ontario and then on to Zurich, Ontario, where in the last 20 years of his life he enjoyed the area, the community and most of all the people. A true gentleman, who enjoyed good conversation with people from all walks of life. He will be missed.
Cremation has taken place and visitation will be held on June 25th from 2:00-4:00 at Falconer Funeral Home in Clinton, Ontario.

  1. Fond memories of Keith when he and Barbara lived in Mississauga. Keith was so charming with a wicked sense of humour.
