Keith Joseph Ghaney
August 11, 1961 – March 23, 2022
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Keith Joseph Ghaney, while surrounded by his loving wife, son, family & friends, age 60 years.
Predeceased by his parents John & Rose Ghaney and father-in-law Gordon Pottle.
Left to mourn with cherished memories, his loving wife Sharon; his son Kyle, who was his pride and joy! Also his mother-in-law Elizabeth Pottle; Siblings: Wayne (Andrea), Jack (Annette), Lynn (Reg), Cathy (Sean), Lisa (Tony), Barry (Trina); brothers-in-law: Gordon Pottle (Maryjane) & Mark Pottle (Amy)
Keith will also be remembered by numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and a large circle of friends, especially long-time friend Darryl Williams.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the Doctors and Nurses at the Health Science Center, for their care and compassion.
Keith was loved by so many people. He always had a smile on his face and had quite the sense of humor. Keith was always there to lend a helping hand and did it without hesitation.
He was an amazing athlete, involved with various hockey and soccer teams. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and most importantly, spending time with family & friends.
Keith thoroughly enjoyed his annual fishing trips to Millertown with his brothers. He loved spending time at his cabin in North Harbour, where he had many campfires, walks on the beach and sociables with friends.
Keith loved being outdoors, whether that was going for a run on his side by side, sea doo or on the ski doo. He loved music and was an incredibly talented musician.
He was the life of the party and always the center of attention.
Keith loved his life. He adored his wife Sharon and was extremely proud of his son Kyle.
Keith had the perfect life. He wouldn’t have changed a thing. Sadly he was taken from us too soon. Life will never be the same without him, he will always be missed but will never be forgotten.
Visitation to take place from Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road, on Saturday, March 26, from 10-5 & 7-9pm. Funeral service to take place at St. Kevin’s Church, Goulds, on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at 4:00pm with inurnment to follow at St. Kevin’s Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Keith’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

We were all shocked to hear the news of Keiths passing, he brought grey Joy to everyone he worked with in Voisey bay rather past year. God bless his him.
