It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Keisha Okemow on May 28, 2022 in Winnipeg at the young age of 19 years.
Keisha leaves behind her parents Terry and Vanessa, siblings Savonne, Simon, Preston and Eliza, grandmothers Martha Clarke and Theora Okemow, nephews Connor, Jaden and Carter, numerous cousins and friends.
She is predeceased by her grandfathers Thomas Clarke and Abel Okemow.
Viewing and prayers will take place on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Avenue, Winnipeg. Wake services will take place on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, June 8, 9 & 10, 2022 at Keisha’s family home in God’s Lake First Nation. Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Waashaak Gospel Church in God’s Lake First Nation with Pastor Jerry Snowbird officiating. Interment to follow at God Lake’s Cemetery.
