With broken hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Kayla, on July 3, 2022 at the age of 31. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Curtis Davidson and daughter Tegan; her parents Trish Henley and Don Gyepesi; siblings Adam, Candace (Cal), Darrick and Sarah; Grandparents, Frank Mostyn, George and Pat Gyepesi, as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends; her in-laws, Pat and Andy Davidson, and family, who she loved so much. She also shared an incredible bond with her Godmother, Shannon Cutler and cousin and Tegan’s Godmother, Carly.
She was predeceased by her grandmother, Yvonne Mostyn.
After a brief illness, Kayla passed peacefully with Curtis by her side and a room full of family who loved her. Kayla was a beautiful light who lit up every room she was in. She had a passion for the outdoors, gardening and projects around the house – she always had something on the go.
She loved spending time with family, friends and her fur babies, Chevy, Roe and Nova, but her greatest joy was being mom to Tegan. We are heartbroken without her but she will live on through Tegan who is truly our ray of sunshine.
Thank you to all of our friends and family who have reached out to support her through her illness, Curtis, Tegan and our family. There are no words to adequately express our gratitude.
Special thanks as well, to the doctors, nurses and staff of Unit 41 at the Royal Alex Hospital. The kindness, compassion and genuine care Kayla received in the time she was there, did not go unnoticed. You are an amazing team – and we are so very grateful.
In lieu of flowers, donations, if you wish, can be made in Kayla’s memory, to an animal rescue organization of your choice.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Kayla Gyepesi 2022..
