Obituary of Kathyrn A. “Kathy” Bowering
BOWERING, Kathyrn A. “Kathy” (née Gagen) – Of London, passed away at her residence on Sunday, July 17, 2022, in her 66th year.
Born in St. Thomas, January 22, 1957, daughter of Marilyn (née Smale) Gagen and the late William “Bill” Gagen (1999). Mother of Beth Glover (Darryl), Matt Bell (Valerie Burns), Amy Bowering (Joel Bissonnette), Matthew Bowering (Andrea), and Christopher Bell (Katherine Marton). Grandmother of Mason Glover, Hudson Glover, Kaleb Bissonnette, Landon Auger-Bowering, and Lillyann Bowering. Sister of Kim Gagen, Karen Webb (Scott Potter), Kelly Sutton (Brian), Kris Dowler (Bart), and Paul Gagen (Kelly). Kathy is also remembered by her nieces, nephews, and their families.
Kathy was a retired employee of Ford Motor Company of Canada’s St. Thomas Assembly Plant. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed the outdoors, and camping.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at Elmdale Memorial Park, St. Thomas. Memorial donations to the charity of one’s choice will be gratefully acknowledged. Arrangements entrusted to the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160).
