Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Kathryn Maude Grace Kingston, loving wife of David Leslie Kingston, wish to announce her passing which occurred on Sunday October 30, 2022, at their home in Gondola Point NB. Born August 24, 1951, in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Muriel (Piers) Betts.
Kathryn (Kathy) was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed listening to music, cooking, nurturing a wide variety of plants and “life” in general and was an animal lover, devoted to her feline companions Babe and Mia. Kathy and David were like “two peas in a pod” that never stopped loving one another for more than 50+ years.
Besides David, she is survived by her three sons, Jonathan (Jill), Jason (Lisa) and Justin (Alyssa); her grandchildren, Jamie, Austin (Gabrielle), Kelsey, Aiden, Jayjay, Kylie, Rylie and Quinn; her siblings, Don Betts, Carol (Gary) Pineau, Linda (Blair) Wetmore, James (Charlene) Betts and Karen (Dan) McGaghey; her brother in-laws Daniel (Jiarong), Michael (Michelle) and Harold (Juanita) and several nephews, nieces and cousins.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sister Eileen (Betts) Lindsay and brother-in-law Bob Lindsay and sisters-in-law Lorraine Kingston and Carol Betts.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) where visitation will take place on Thursday November 3 2022 from 2-7pm. Following cremation, the funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 5 2022, at 11:00am at Calvary Temple Church, 83 Sydney Street Saint John; with a reception to follow the service.
