Metzger, Kathleen Gail
Fondly known on the street of Barrie as “Kat”. Kathleen knew, cared and loved so many people that were struggling as well. She suddenly collapsed on August 6, 2022 in Toronto after suffering for several years with a rare form of cancer at the age of 52. Kathy went for her treatments at Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto (UHN). She will sadly be missed by her beloving husband Dan Metzger and their dog Yoda. Kathy is also survived by her loving mom Denise Kindness (Dave Buckley). Mother of Chaela and Cole Kindness. Caring niece of Deanna (Don), Bev, Dave (Sheila), Darlene (Spike). She will also be missed by her Wendy (Martin), Debbie, Tick, Nicole (Brad), Andrea, Laura – lee, Ben and David. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to CAMH or UHN Hospitals.
She is now out of pain, suffering and watching over all of us with love.
