Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at the age of 96 years.
Survived by her two daughters, Karin (Henry) Bouda, Betty Petri (Rob Roth), her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Tomas (Sally) Norris Bouda and their children Roscoe and Pearl, Lukas (Nadine) Bouda, Nicole Roth and Leah Roth. Katharina was predeceased by her beloved husband of 52 years, Georg Petri.
Katharina was born in Draas Romania and was a faithful member of the Christian Fellowship Church, Waterloo.
Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 10:00 – 10:45 am. The service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 11:00 am. A reception will be held following the service in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. Interment will take place at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. A livestream and recording of the service will be posted on Katharina’s tribute page at www.erbgood.com
