Chisholm, Karen Elizabeth, (1958 –
2022)
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful
passing of Karen Elizabeth (McCoul) Chisholm of Glen Air Estates,
South River on March 1, 2022 at St. Martha’s Regional
Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in Truro on March 18, 1958, she was the daughter of the
late Ervin and Gladys (Miller) McCoul.
Karen was a kind and giving person who struggled through life
with courage, facing many health issues and the loss of those close to
her.
She is survived by a son, Troy (Wendy); grandsons: Michael,
Riley, Jack and Graham of Whitehorse, NWT and son, Steven of Glen Air
Estates, South River; sister, Rosalie (Michael) MacInnis; brother,
Gary (Marianne) McCoul; brother in law, Ron Whalen and many nieces and
nephews.
Besides her parents, Karen was predeceased by her husband,
Reggie; son, Michael; brother, Ervie; sister, Valerie; and
sister in law, Marie.
The family would like to thank Dr. Eckhart and the nurses of
Ambulatory and Palliative Care for their kindness and
compassion. At Karen’s request there will be no
visitation or funeral.
A private burial will take place at a later date.
