Karen (Wyse) Creamer of Derby Junction passed away surrounded by her family, on Wednesday June 29, 2022, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 79.
Born in Miramichi she was the daughter of the late Wilson and Jenny (Jardine) Wyse. She worked as a stenographer, bookkeeper, and was an administrative assistant with Canada Post until her retirement. She was a member of the United Church of Canada and a past member of the lionnette’s.
She will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 58 years, Warren Creamer, her two Sons, Garth (Pamela) Southesk and Scott (Libby) of Whitney, Her sister Elaine Taylor of Derby Junction, and 5 grandchildren, Kyle, Brandon, Brady, Adam & Christopher. Karen was also blessed with a great granddaughter Rori.
Besides her parents she was pre-deceased by her sister Gertrude Mutch, brother Delbert Wyse, Brother in-law Pierson Taylor and Nephew Troy Taylor.
The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland funeral home on Sunday July 3, 2022, from 4–8 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday July 4, 2022 at 11:00 am from Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Alice Szemok officiating.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Extramural Program, or to a memorial of one’s choice.
