Karen Lisa Beaurivage
July 7, 1965 – February 3, 2022
It’s with great sadness and at the same time joy as we announce Karen’s departure from this earth into the arms of her Heavenly Father on February 3, 2022 at the age of 56. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family.
Our courageous Karen fought an intense year-long battle with cancer with nothing but grace, faith and love.
She will be immensely missed by her best friend of 42 years and adored husband Russell Beaurivage, her cherished daughters Maggie Beaurivage (Hannah Bailey) and Joslyn Manning (Trey Manning), and her little ray of sunshine, grandson Wyatt Manning.
Karen was predeceased by her parents Donna Margaret Wilson (née Sitter) and James Harold Wilson, and her elder sister Carol Lee Atkinson. She will be much missed by her siblings Gayle Hagan (Brian Hagan), Doug Wilson (Barb Wilson), Judith Atkinson, Connie Morrison, and Donna Ireland (Daryl Ireland), as well as her many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and church family.
Karen has been the perfect role model for so many on how to live a happy, contented life; cheerful and generous while spreading her love and joy to family, friends and strangers, here, in Haiti, and wherever she went. She was beautiful inside and out.
Karen’s Celebration of Life will take place February 12, 2022 at Kingsway Church (3776 ON-3, Balmoral, ON) at 6:00pm. Friends and family are welcome to attend. The service will also be recorded and posted online later that evening (will be available at www.kingswaychurch.ca).
At Karen’s request, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hope From Above Ministries (donation information can be found at hfamhaiti.org/donate).
