Sue Gomes passed away peacefully at her home in Calgary on June 27th at the age of 94. Sue was born in Shanghai, China. She and her husband, Jorge Gomes, lived in Hong Kong, Brunei, and Macau, and finally moved to Canada in 1964. They raised their family in Standard, Alberta, and eventually retired in Calgary.
Sue had many interests and accomplishments, but her family was the centre of her life. Sue was greatly loved by her husband, Jorge, who passed away in 2018. Sue and Jorge will be dearly missed by their children, Jed, Jean, Patricia, and Jessica.
As Sue requested, a private funeral service will be held. If friends so desire and in lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the charity of your choice.
