Raiber, June (nee Squires)
Passed away peacefully at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on October 30, 2022 at the age of 94 years old. Beloved wife of Anton Raiber for over 60 years. Loving mother of Catherine Jenner, Andrea (Vito) Chiefari and Janet Raiber. Cherished grandmother of Matthew (Aleesha Titley), Amanda (Brandon Dube), Patrick (Tara Jenner), Alexandria (Thimo Guennewig), Peter-Anton and Graham. Caring great grandmother of Alexander, Hayden, Chase, Sawyer, Parker and Sofie. June will also be missed by her many extended family and friends in Canada, the U.K. and Austria.
Friends are invited to a visitation and funeral service on Saturday, November 12, 2022 in the Upper level at the Steckley – Gooderham Funeral Chapel, 30 Worsley Street., Barrie.
Visitation will take place at 1:30 pm, the Funeral Service will commence at 2 pm. Reception to follow the service. In lieu of flowers donations in June’s memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. Any donations will be greatly appreciated by the family.
