Lakins; June E. (nee Amey) – June passed away at the age of 93, on Thursday, February 24th, 2022 at L&A Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Ronald in 1990 and her grandson Sgt Jason Boyes and great grandson Owen Jackson. She will be greatly missed by her children Gary Lakins (Mary), Donna Jackson (Lorne), and Sandra Beaubien (Bill).
June was grandmother to Kari-Ann Miller (James Beckwith), Jodi Boyes, late Jason Boyes (Alison), Angela Knickle (Mark), Karen Humphreys (Scott), Kevin Jackson (Loretta), Shannon Boutilier (Chris), Tracey Clancy (Scott), and Lesley Beaubien (Mat Brant). Great grandmother to 23 great grandchildren and more recently great great grandmother to 4 great great grandchildren. She greatly loved them all , and they loved her back. She will be terribly missed by her sister Flora Pomerory (Late Tony).
The family will receive visitors at the Wartman Funeral Home, Napanee, on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 4-7 pm. Service of Celebration will take place on Thursday in the Funeral Home at 11:00 am proof of vaccination will be required to attend the service and will be shown upon entry. Interment St Luke’s Cemetery Camden East.
