Mrs. June Carolyn Bridge (née Burry, Toronto) – Brockville (b. 17 August 1927)
It is with great sadness that the family announces that June died on 11th July in her 95th year
at Lanark Lifestyles (Perth).
“Mither” to Derek Hutchinson & Carol Watson (Long Sault), Debra Hutchinson & Tom Morris
(Brockville) and Trent Hutchinson & Megan Clark (Kew, Australia).
“Grannie Bridge” to David Hutchinson (Cornwall), Erin Hutchinson and Elliot Hutchinson &
Rachel Horgan (Australia).
Stepmother to Dave Bridge & Marcie (Belleville), Artie Bridge (Belleville), Bev & Barry
Belshaw (Stittsville) and Doug & Wendy Bridge (Campbellford). Grandchildren include
Katelyn Bridge, Ellie and Evan Belshaw, Marlene and Adam Bridge.
June was married to ex-husband Gordon H. Hutchinson (d. 1999) and Ralph Bridge (d. 2006).
June’s younger brother is Gilbert Burry (83) of Victoria Park; predeceased by brothers Bud
and Bruce Burry, sisters Margaret Adam and Barb Wallace.
Remembered with love by her first cousin Joan Wheeler (née Smith) (Lindsay).
Laughs with “Junie Moon” will be greatly missed by her long-time friends Melody & Richard
Halsall (Sudbury).
June was an active member of First Presbyterian Church in Brockville for close to thirty
years.
In keeping with June’s wishes there will be no funeral service. A private family cremation
has taken place. A Celebration of Life service for June is being planned for a future date in Brockville.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Covenant House (Toronto), The Toronto
Star Fresh Air Fund or similar charity.
