Julia Julie Copeland Sunday June 12th 2022

Julia (Julie) Moira Copeland (nee Crossan)
October 28, 1938 – June 12, 2022
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Julia Moira Copeland; a kind and generous woman, who entered into rest on June 12, 2022 in her 83rd year.
Julia is predeceased by her loving husband, Gary Copeland (1996), and her two brothers Andrew and Frederick Crossan. Julia will be sadly missed by her two sisters, Catherine Whitney in Nova Scotia and Ann Crossan in Australia.
Julia was born in Montreal, Quebec to James Forbes Crossan and Christine Crossan (nee Moir). Following the passing of her mother, Julia lived in Oshawa, Ontario with her aunt and uncle until 1944, when James and Emma Louise Crossan (Nash) were married and brought six-year-old Julia to Nova Scotia.
Julia later returned to Ontario where she met her loving husband, Gary. She was employed by General Motors and following retirement, Julia served as a volunteer in the Oshawa General Hospital and for King St. United Church. More recently, Julia was a resident of Glen Hill Terrace in Whitby.
