Obituary
Our beloved Mother Julie passed away in Black Diamond Hospital on May 5th, 2022, due to her cancer and congestive heart failure.
She was born December 28, 1937, in Birtle Manitoba. She met our Dad Gordon B Lawrence and they married in 1955. And in 1964 they moved to Turner Valley, and this is where they settled six kids later.
Our oldest brother Danny passed away in 2002, then our father in 2012. Mom was well known for her pie baking and her cooking, she also enjoyed putting on a big feast. Everyone called mom Mama, grandma, auntie, and of course my good friend. She was loved by so many people in her time.
Julia (mom) Lawrence is survived by Dennis, Debora, David (Naomi), Deloris (Fred), Darrell (Meghan), and numerous grand and great children, nieces and nephews and all her friends.
We would like to thank the High Country Lodge for all their love and support for our Mother.
And a special thanks to Dr. Ray and the Oilfield Hospital (Black Diamond).
And a very special thank you to Gwen Smith.
Rest in peace my Jules.
Service will be held at St. George (Anglican) church in Turner Valley at 1:00 P.M., Friday, May 13th, 2022.
Lunch to follow at St. George.
