Obituary of Jules Morin
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jules Morin on Thursday, March 31, 2022, peacefully at home surrounded by his family, at the age of 83. Beloved husband of the late Marion Morin née Leslie (2021). Cherished father of the late Kevin (1975), Karen Mansell (late Steve 2015), April Robert (David) and Raymond (Shari). He will be sadly missed by his 7 grandchildren; Chris, Jeff and Nicole Mansell, Eric and Sarah Robert, and Samantha and Brenden Morin. Dear brother of Doris (late Bob) Poulin, Elna (late Ray) Cote, Cecile (late Gaston) Letourneau, Diane (late Claude) St. Laurent, Alex (late Rebel) and Elizabeth (late Ken) Beatty. Predeceased by siblings Lydia (late Larry) Fontaine, Eddy (Pat), and Julien (Elise).
Jules was caring, with a huge heart and witty sense of humour. He was a loving husband, father and grandpa who always put his family first. As an avid golfer he loved sharing his passion for the sport with family and friends who will miss him greatly.
Special thanks to all the health care staff that supported him through his short illness.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 827 East Main Street, Welland on Thursday, April 7, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Doan’s Ridge Cemetery. Donations to the SickKids Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. A private Celebration of Life, to honour both Jules and Marion, will follow the interment. Jules and Marion are together again after a few short months apart.
