Obituary of Judy Elizabeth Gibson
GIBSON: Judy Elizabeth
Our beautiful Judy passed away quietly on Christmas Day, 2021. Judy was born in Toronto on April 13th, 1950 to Jack and Betty Gray. She grew up in Clarkson and lived in Lakefield, Ontario for most of her adult life.
Judy lived a full and happy life.
She enjoyed travelling and she and Bruce travelled the world to exotic countries like Antarctica, Turkey, Egypt, Morocco, India, Australia, Cambodia and many more.
Judy loved her store The Treasure Chest and she put her heart and soul into it. She was proud of what she accomplished in making the store a success; she had a great many loyal customers and she always insisted that her store provide quality and excellent customer service.
We all remember that Judy was always very well-dressed!
Christmas was Judy’s favourite holiday. She would spend an entire week at the end of November decorating almost every room in her house. It made her so happy. She wanted everyone to be as filled with the Christmas spirit as much as she was.
She loved her summers on Four Mile Lake.
Judy liked people and, no matter where she was, she would talk to anyone, anywhere. She was just like that.
Judy will be missed by her husband, Bruce; her sons Brad (Kayleigh) and Andrew (Angela); her grandchildren Chase, Nash, Grace, Joshua; and her sisters Vicki Russell (Jim) and Pam Readshaw (Paul).
Judy was brave. Her battle is over. She doesn’t have Alzheimer’s anymore.
On her journey of the long good-bye all she would ask now is that you remember her the way she was before…
Cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial at a later date.
