Surrounded by family, on Monday October 11, 2022 at Colchester East Hants Health Center, Judy McFarlane Davidson, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Ilene (Hayter) McFarlane, passed away peacefully at the age of 75.
Judy will be remembered mostly for her giving nature, love of animals and family. She has touched so many with her spiritual faith and kindness. She was a faithful member of Christian Fellowship Church in New Glasgow. You might be surprised to know that she had a sense of humor like no other and was the first one to take one for the team.

She returned to vocational school at the age of 40 and graduated with Office Administration. Judy worked as a civilian at the Stadacona Military Base in Halifax. In 1996 she returned to Pictou County where she worked and then later retired from the Aberdeen Hospital.
She was the loving mother of Greg (Kathy) Vienneau, Melissa (Mark) Davidson, and step son, Shane/Bruce (Margaret) Davidson. Proud grandmother of Taylor (Amber), Reanne (Tyler), Bowen & Cole and fur mom to Milo and Benny.
Also survived by brother Greg (Danene) MacCallum, Aunts Cline Marshall and Phyllis Hayter. She was predeceased by her loving son David Bruce Vienneau. She was also predeceased by her loving grandparents Lottie & Henry Hayter, her loving sister Janet Cogswell, along with numerous aunts and uncles who she considered to be like brothers and sisters. She will be sadly missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews, several special friends, as well as her extended church family.
Cremation will take place under the care and direction of Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow, NS. Celebration of Life Service will take place Friday, October 14 at 6:00pm at Christian Fellowship Church, New Glasgow, NS.
