Judy my friend and fellow teacher What a shock! You always seemed so invincible. First teacher at the school and one of the best!! You taught kindergarten and a memory that stays with me is of walking past your classroom when the children were having rest time The lights were dimmed and you were playing the most beautiful classical music There wasn’t a peep. I think that at a certain level the children will never forget the peace of those moments. I never ever heard you raise your voice in anger when dealing with them; if anything you would drop your very gentle voice to a whisper and even the most active little boy seemed to drop his shoulders and be still.
Somehow I now hear heavenly music and I see you sitting at a piano playing for a great host of people of all ages… babies, toddlers, people young and old…it’s a beautiful thing..
Rest in peace Judy, You were loved
