Judith Lynn Ulyett
August 10, 1945 – Ocober 8, 2022
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Judith Ulyett on October 8, 2022.
Judy is survived by her husband, Steven; her dog, Tucker; brothers, Ken Ryerse of Westlock; sister, Lori Ryerse of Blind Bay, BC; sisters-in-law, Valerie Ulyett (Byron Smith) of Vancouver, BC and Wendy Williams of Edmonton; nieces, Jennifer Williams, Amanda Williams, Leah Longaphie (Stephen) of Maple Ridge, BC; nephews, Jamie Matei (Ashley) of Fort McMurray; grandnieces, Abby and Avery Williams and Elizabeth Matei; grandnephews, Darian Fediuk, Mason Williams and James Matei.
She was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Ken Williams; nephew, Darren Williams; niece, Emily Williams; and nephew, Jordan Gutting.
Judy was the eldest daughter of Beth and George Ryerse. She was a laboratory technician, having graduated from NAIT’s second class of 1966. She worked in the Royal Alexandra Hospital for over 10 years.
Judy loved her family, friends and her many good dogs over the years. In return, she was loved by them all.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the medical personnel who cared for Judy over the years. A special thank-you to Dr. Jane Kachope, Dr. Padraic Carr, Dr. Gary Grey and the long-term care staff of The Edmonton General and Shepherd’s Care Kensington for her last two years.
A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton.
