Judith Lynn “Judy”
Prodger – 74, Valley,
passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at Colchester
East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of
the late Donald and Frances (Bartlett) Tibbetts.
Judy worked for 50 years with Chignecto – Central
Regional School Board as a driver for Special Needs Children and
retired in 2020. She loved animals, especially her fur babies over the
years, Blackie, Bootsie, Bourbon, Buffy, Bella and Billy
Jean.
Judy is survived by her half-brother, Shawn Hanham, Onslow
Mountain; nieces, Vicky Conrad (Brian Mc Callum), Onslow Mountain;
Sherry Bolger, Salmon River; great nephews, Douglas “Doug”
Conrad, Brandon Bolger, Jacob Bolger. She will be missed deeply by her
special friend, Wendy LeBlanc. Along with her parents, she was
predeceased by her husband, Arthur Alfred Prodger; son, Michael in
infancy; sisters, Diane Tibbitts, Gail (Frankie) Conrad;
half-brothers, Donald Tibbitts, Robert White.
Special thanks are extended to Christopher LeBlanc for all of
his help in taking Judy to and from her medical appointments in
Halifax and to the staff of Palliative Care Unit at Colchester East
Hants Health Centre for your care and compassion. If so desired,
donations in Judy’s memory to Colchester SPCA are
welcomed.
