Judy Nelligan passed away peacefully on October 24, 2022, in Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre at the age of 74 after several months fighting the complications of brain cancer. She approached her medical challenges the same way she did everything else — with grace and determination.
Judy is survived by Terry, her loving and caring husband of 54 years, daughter Kerrie, son Mark, his wife Jenn and 2 granddaughters Carys and Ashlyn, her brother Scott and his wife Hilary.
Born in St. Thomas, Ontario and raised in London, Ontario, she attended Oakridge High School where she met Terry, and they became high school sweethearts. During her teenage years, she played on the girl’s hockey team and was a lifeguard. She enjoyed walking, golf, crafts, gardening and loved spending time with her family. Judy lived an interesting and fulfilling life, which included living in 4 countries and travelling the world to over 30 different countries.
Judy was a very special person. She truly made the world a better place. She will be deeply missed and will be fondly remembered by her extended family and friends for her beautiful smile, her kindness and her integrity.
A Celebration of Life will be planned for the Spring of 2023.
