Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Juanita Mullins announce her passing at Corner Brook long-term care palliative unit on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at the age of 84 years. Juanita is pre-deceased by her husband of 64 years Donald Mullins. Her sisters Ivy and Vera, brothers Hector and Berkley and her parents, Walter and Isabell Ingram. Juanita was born in Harbour Buffet Placentia Bay in her early career she was a teacher before serving 21 years with Canada Post Corporation in Lark Harbour. She was an active and enthusiastic member of the Anglican Church Women, she loved interacting with the tourists that came from the cruise ships. She enjoyed knitting and quilting and a good game of cards. For many years her and Donald loved to go camping with friends and family.
Juanita leaves to mourn her children: Alvin (Hannah), Roy (Rose), Ken (Elta), Brian, Brenda (Keith), Wanda, and Cathy, her 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. As well as her sister Marie (Jim) Dicks and a large circle of nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 2:00 PM at St. Jame’s Anglican Church, Lark Harbour, NL with Rev. Effie Organ officiating. As an expression of sympathy, there are no flowers by request, in lieu of flowers memorial donations in memory of Juanita can be made to St. James Anglican church fund Lark Harbour NL.
