Obituary for
Joyce Nolan
Joyce Lynn Nolan (Reaney), 78, originally from Brandon, Manitoba, passed away on April 17, 2022, in Vegreville, Alberta.
Joyce was born in Brandon, Manitoba to Elias Melvele Reaney and Elizabeth Mary Mountain on October 18, 1943. She spent most of her childhood in Saskatchewan and graduated high school in Weyburn. Joyce very much enjoyed working and ended her career with PFRA (Prairie Farm Rehabilitation Administration). Joyce loved her hobbies. She was often found reading, doing sudokus, sewing or completing one of her many crafts. After retirement her love of travel took over. Joyce and her husband, Jack spent many winters in Mexico and the southern United States. The summers were spent in their camper traveling western Canada visiting their many friends and family.
Joyce is survived by her loving and caring husband, Jack Nolan; brother, Gordon (Shirley) Reaney; sisters, Jean Seiferling and Marjory Reaney; step sons, Luke Nolan (Sharla), Desmond Nolan (Susan), Greg Nolan (Jenna); nieces and nephews, Shauna Duke, Shaun Seiferling, Shane Seiferling, Derek Reaney and Brad Reaney. Joyce was predeceased by her parents; and brother, Clifford Reaney.
If family and friends desire, memorial donations may be made to a charitable organization of their choice. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at the yellow cottage at Century Park, Vegreville. Inurnment and private family service will take place in Weyburn, Saskatchewan at a later date.

Jack, this is such a lovely picture of Joyce – that is how I want to remember her. I have fond memories of our visits in Arizona and camping with you and the Reaney family in the Cypress Hills.
Jack and family, this is such a great picture, her sparkling eyes and that smile is exactly her,we have such good memories and this picture takes you right back to all the good times. Her passing leaves such a big hole in our hearts she will be greatly missed.
Torchy and I were very lucky to meet and get to know Joyce when she and Jack camped in Mesa, AZ for a few years. What a talented lady! Everything she did was crafted so beautifully. I really admired and was in awe of her work, especially her sewing. So sad to hear of her passing. She will really be missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Condolences to her family members; we are thinking of you in your sadness at the loss of this beautiful lady.
