Joyce Tennant
December 7, 1930 ~ August 6, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joyce (McNaughton) Tennant on August 6th with her daughter by her side.
Joyce was the loving and supportive mom of Janice (Wayne) and dear mother-in-law of JoAnne (Jack, deceased).
She will be missed by her grandchildren, Amanda and Matthew (Krystal) Campbell, and her great-granddaughters, Addison and Aubrey.
Lovingly remembered by her brother, Murray (Barb), her sister, Phyllis Donnelly (Lawrence, deceased) her sister-in-law, Dorothy Tennant (Enoch) and stepdaughter Heather Marshall (Mike Haines, deceased). Joyce was pre-deceased by the love of her life John, her second husband Bob Haines, her son Jack, infant granddaughter Jennifer Tennant, her sisters Edith Jerome, Geneva Doyle and June McInnis (Dave) and her brothers Harold and Lloyd. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and Bob’s three sons Rick, Randall (Liz), Chris and their families.
Joyce’s family wishes to thank the staff at Waterside Retirement Home, the Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice and the Carleton Place Terrace, as well as Bayshore and LHIN, for their care of Mom.
Friends may pay their respects on Thursday, August 11th from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home in Carleton Place, 19 McArthur Avenue. A service in the chapel is to follow. Interment to take place at St. James Anglican Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. James Anglican Church, Carleton Place or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
