Joyce’s Obituary
With her family at her side, Joyce McCully passed from this life on Wednesday March 9, 2022 at Hardy Terrace in Brantford, Ontario. She was 90 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Forrest McClelland. Predeceased by first husband Andy McCully. Loved mother of Michael McCully (Patricia), Laurie Woods (Richard), Theresa Dinsmore (the late Leslie) and Andy McCully (Tina). Cherished grandmother of twelve grandchildren and great-grandmother of eleven. Forever remembered sister of Michael Zavits (Helen), Sheila (Dean), Shirley Morris (the late Jim), the late Jean Nevilles (the late Ken), and the late Gloria ‘Gordy’ Moore (the late Earl). She was a hard working lady who held many positions including working at Penmans, the White Horse and the Canadian Tavern. She was a valued member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Paris, Ontario and St. Rita Roman Catholic Church in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia. Joyce enjoyed singing in the Sacred Heart Choir and being an active member in both the CWL and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #29.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to the DWAYNE D. BUDGELL Funeral Home. A Private Family Interment Service will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Paris, Ontario. At some point in the near future details will be announced for a Celebration of Life gathering. In Joyce’s memory, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada (alzheimer.ca/en) would be appreciated by the family.
