Joyce Evelyn Cameron – age 87 of Strawberry Plains passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022. Member of Shady Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by husband, Linden Cameron; parents, Samuel and Pearl Bates; and brothers, Glen, Jerry, and Leonard.
Survived by daughters, Linda Newman, Sharon Farr, Patty Jones, and Julie Harmon; special nephew, Mark Bates; brother, Kenny Bates; 11 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Holston Baptist Church followed by the funeral service at 7:00 PM with Pastor Greg Jones and Tony Hayes officiating. Family and friends will meet 1:15 PM on Sunday at Bridges Funeral Home and go in procession to Eastview Memorial Gardens for a 2:00 PM interment.
