In loving memory of Joyce Arlene Adams who died peacefully in her home in Sudbury Ontario on August 5, 2022. She was 69.
Joyce was predeceased by her parents Charles and Celine Dampier. She is survived by her children Mark and Rhonda (Jesse). Loving sister to Leslie, Beverly LaFleur predeceased (Richard), Leona Trauner predeceased (Gerald), Marilyn Breathat (Gary Card), Robert (Allison). Cherised grandmother to Katelynn (Randy), Amber (John), Macey, Darcie, and Harley. Great grandmother to Chloe and Sofia. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews and her cat Eddie.
Joyce was a genius in the kitchen she could cook anything just by tasting it and was often called the soup nazi by people at the Idylwylde . She worked in many restaurants in and around Sudbury. Joyce also extended her cooking abilities to her job as a cook at the St. Joseph’s Villa. Any time there was a family dinner she made sure everything was in tiptop shape and well planned out to her liking. To Joyce, family was everything. Joyce enjoyed the outdoors with family and friends fishing, boating and having many laughs. Joyce was also known for her sense of humour over the years with her jokes being enjoyed by many.
As per her wishes a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
