Obituary For Josephine Laverne Rak
Josephine Laverne Rak, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, born on April 28, 1932, in Lethbridge AB, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at the age of 89 years.
In her final days, Josephine was surrounded by family; and compassionate, comforting care was supplied by the staff at Prairie Lakes Hospice.
Josephine is survived by four children, ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Josephine was predeceased by her husband Oscar Frank Rak (2009) and her son Atilla Rak (1982).
Interment and Celebration of Life Services will be determined at a later date.
Memorial Donations in memory of Josephine, may be made to the Grande Prairie Palliative Care Society (#204, 10134 97 Ave., Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 7X6), or to gpcare.ca/volunteer-or-donate/donations/.
