Joseph Shepard 1947 2022

Suddenly at
home in Cardigan, the passing of Joe Shepard age 75, loving and
devoted husband of 53 years to Doreen (Llewellyn) Shepard, occurred on
Thursday, June 2, 2022. Born in Montague, January 20, 1947, he was the
son of the late James and Florence (Fougere) Shepard. He is survived
by children, Charlene (Brian) Somers, Greg (Leeanne) Shepard;
siblings, Shirley Peardon, Stella (Reggie) Phelan, George (Rya)
Shepard, Rosanne Shepard, Dan (Cindy) Shepard, Billy (Aura Lee)
Shepard; cherished grandchildren, Amy (Chad) Garrett, Keegan (Kori)
Somers, Austin Bernardino, Connor Shepard, Pat Higgins, Braydon
Henderson; brother-in-laws, Glen (Gertie) Llewellyn, Blair Acorn
(Debbie-deceased), Cyril Cashin (Donna-deceased), and sister-in-law
Roxanne Llewellyn (Garry-deceased). Predeceased by daughter Lorrie Ann
Shepard, granddaughter Melina Shepard, sister Marie Shepard, brother
Jimmy Shepard, mother and father-in-law Phyllis and Bill Llewellyn and
brother-in-law Roy Peardon.
Joe was a
devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was dearly loved and will
be greatly missed by his great grandchildren, nieces, and
nephews.
Resting at
Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home, with visiting on Sunday, June 5,
2022 from 5 to 7 pm. Funeral Service to take place on Monday, June 6,
2022 at 1 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to take place in
the All Saints Catholic Cemetery in
Cardigan.
