Age 75, Chéticamp, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 13, 2022 at Sacred Heart Community Health Centre, Chéticamp. Roger was a son of the late Louis Edmond and the late Marie Therese (LeFort) LeBlanc.
Roger was a retired fisherman. He loved golfing, trout fishing, spending time with his family and going for ice cream treats. He especially enjoyed spoiling his special companion, Sandy.
Roger is survived by his wife, Mary (Muise) LeBlanc; sons, Tony LeBlanc (Cynthia), Robert LeBlanc (Sylvia); daughter, Kelly LeBlanc (Mike); sisters, Marguerite Deveau (Daniel), Thelma Boudreau, Doris Poirier (Albert); grandchildren, Shaina Dawn LeBlanc (Scott), Nicholas LeBlanc, and Brandon LeBlanc; brother-in-law, John Muise (Sharon); sister-in-law, Margaret LeBlanc.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Joseph Edgar LeBlanc; father and mother in-law, Sandy (Alexander) Muise and Winnifred (Winnie) Burke; brothers in-law, Eddie Deveau, Willie John Boudreau, Donald Muise, James Muise, Paul Albert Muise, and Charlie Muise.
There will be no funeral services. Donations in Roger’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, or Cape Breton Cancer Patient Fund.
