Joseph Paul Doucette 1945 2017

The death occurred peacefully at the Western Hospital,
Alberton, on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, surrounded by his loving
family, of Joseph Paul Doucette, beloved husband to Theresa Mary (nee
Gallant) Doucette, of St. Felix, age 72 years. Born at St.
Felix on February 9, 1945, he was the son of the late Patrick and
Agnes (nee Arsenault) Doucette.
Loving father to: Joey (Rose) of Napanee, Ont; Jeanette
Docherty, of Oshawa, Ont; Jamie (Jennifer), of St. Felix; Judy (Bob)
Sauliner, of Moncton, N.B.; Andy (Gen), of Ajax Ont.; and Beverly
(Dale) Doucette, of St. Louis.
He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Kendra,
Bradley, Brendan, Robert, Dana, Jenna, Jayden, Rene, Brandon, Kayla,
Tyler, Xander, Wyatt, Sarabeth, Tessa and Taylor. Dear
brother to: Cyril (Betty), of Moncton; Johnny (Roberta), of Shediac;
Patricia (Allison) Williams, of Springhill.
He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law: Edward
Gallant, of Charlottetown; Andrew (Jean) Gallant, of
Summerside; Marie Penny, of Wellington; Gerald (Rose Marie), of
Charlottetown.
He was predeceased by sisters, Olive, Theresa and
brother, Nelson. He was also predeceased by a brother-in-law,
Levi.
Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home & Chapel,
Alberton. Visiting hours Thursday 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Funeral Friday morning from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish,
for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Brendon Gallant,
Celebrant.
Interment in the Church cemetery. As an expression of
sympathy, memorials to St. Simon and St. Jude Cemetery Fund or to the
Western Hospital Equipment Fund would be gratefully
appreciated.
