Sullivan, Joseph Patrick Jr. – Joseph Patrick Sullivan Jr. passed away peacefully on November 29, 2022.
A bricklayer and meat cutter by trade, Joe was the eldest in the family of Mary (Scott) and Joseph Sullivan Sr. He often spoke fondly of his childhood having grown up in Enfield on Little Grand Lake where his parents built a log cabin by the lake, later in 1961 building the family home and clearing their land to operate Sully’s Campsite. Joe loved the property and while living in Alberta to work in Fort McMurray for many years, his heart was always with the family property. He yearned for the day he could retire and move home to spend his days at the lake and more time with his daughter, Erin.
After inheriting the family home, he came home for the summers and saw his dream of moving home permanently realized in the spring of 2018.
Joe loved the simple life and loved being in nature. In his adult life, he spent a lot of time in Renfrew helping his buddy, Edgar Horne in the gold mines while searching for the motherload, hunting or hanging out with friends at the camp.
