Passed away peacefully in hospital on June 14, 2022, while surrounded by family. Pre-deceased by Yvonne, his loving wife of 55 years. Loving and proud father of Dean (Christine), Chris (Brandi), and Drew (Scottie). Proud grandfather of Marc, Joey, Megan, Claiborne, Mason and Logan, and great-grandfather to Carter, Reese, Oliver, and Joseph (JJ). Survived by his siblings Patty, Janet and Terry, and pre-deceased by Jim.
Joe will be very dearly missed by many nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends. Joe retired from General Motors in 1999 after 34 years of service. Joe was an avid pool player and will be missed around the tables.
For those who wish, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
A mass in celebration of Joe’s life will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022 at 10:30 AM at St. John Vianney Church with interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Families First, 1065 Lauzon Rd., East Windsor, 519-969-5841. Cremation has taken place.
