Joseph Roy Herold Jr.

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the unexpected passing of their son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew and cousin, Joseph Roy Herold Jr. Joseph passed away on November 1, 2022 at the age of 40 years. He was living in Edmonton at the time of his passing.
Joseph was born in Whitecourt, Alberta and spent his early life growing up in Fox Creek, Alberta. In his early twenties, his adventurous spirit led him to Edmonton, Alberta. This move led him to a career in framing houses.
Joseph loved the outdoors and while living in Fox Creek, he became very passionate about hunting and fishing he would enjoy whenever he had spare time.
Joseph will be lovingly remembered by his father Roy Herold, sister Lisa Herold as well as his nephew Adam Auclair. He will also be remembered by his grandmother Marilyn Milner, aunts Pauline Herold, Evangelene Herold and Nolane Milner, uncle Scott Milner as well as many good friends.
Joseph is predeceased by his mother Georgina (Herold) Milner, grandparents Joe Herold, Roy Herold and Earl Milner, aunt Delene White as well as niece Crystal Herold.
A committal graveside service will be held on December 3, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fox Creek Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will follow the interment at the Fox Creek Scout Hall. Everyone is invited to stay after the service for refreshment and luncheon.
If friends and family so desire, memorial contributions may be directed to the Cross Cancer Institute.
