Joseph John (Luke) Laporte
April 6, 1960 – March 28, 2022
Joseph John “Big Luke” Laporte passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Monday, March 28, 2022. He was predeceased by his sister Joanne, mother Noella and father Joe Laporte. Survived by brother Mark Laporte. Luke was well known in the North Bay Baseball community. He was also devoted to the sport of arm wrestling; hosting and competing in events locally, nationally, eventually participating in World Competitions.
Thank you to Dr. Stephane Gauthier, Nurses in CCU at NBRHC for their special care of Luke.
As per his wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life and Interment will take place at a later date.
Big Luke will be remembered as a big man with a big heart.
Donations to a charity of your choice in Luke’s Memory will be gratefully acknowledged.
