Byway, Joseph “Joe” Thomas – Suddenly as a result of a fall at home, Joe passed away on Saturday, March 5th, 2022, at the age of 75. Joe is survived by his wife Kathryn Byway of 52 years and his wonderful children Sarah, Dean, Jennifer, and Eric. Joe was predeceased by infant sons, Andrew, and Michael (1977). Joe retired as a Captain on the London Fire Department in 2001. He spent his happiest moments puttering in the garage, working outside, or walking his dogs. Cremation has already taken place. If you wish to donate in memory of Joe, please consider the Woodstock Hospital Foundation or Pets/Friends for Life and may be arranged through the Brock and Visser funeral home (519-285-2427).
