Elizabeth Hospital, the passing of Joseph “Joe” Frances
MacIntyre age 72, of Cardigan, devoted husband of 45 years to Eileen
(Shaw) MacIntyre, occurred on Thursday, December 23, 2021. Born in
Montague, April 11, 1949, he was the son of the late Leonard and
Bernadette (Campbell) MacIntyre. Joe is survived by children, Daniel
(Amie) MacIntyre, Jason (Lindsay Palmer) MacIntyre and Brian (Charley)
MacIntyre; sister Arlene Rice, brother Jimmy MacIntyre; sisters-in-law
Erica MacIntyre, Gloria Shaw, Dorothy Drake; brother-in-law Blair
(Sherrell) Shaw; cherished grandchildren, Kaleb, Keagan, Kenzie,
Felix, Cole; nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
Predeceased by brother Dwayne, father-in-law and mother-in-law Donald
(Hannah) Shaw, brothers-in-law, Boyd Shaw and Leslie Drake.
Resting at Ferguson Logan
Montague Funeral Home, with visiting on Friday, July 22, 2022, from 6
to 8 pm. Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at
11:00 am, in All Saints Catholic Church, Cardigan. Interment to follow
in the All Saints Parish Cemetery. Donations to the Idiopathic
Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) care of The Lung Association (checks made out
to the Lung Association) or All Saints Parish Cemetery
Fund.
