Joseph “Joe” John Trevors
1948 – 2022
Joseph “Joe” John Trevors of Barnaby, NB, wife of Brenda (McGrath) Trevors passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at the age of 74. Born in Chatham, NB, he was the son of the late Norman and Florence (Swain) Trevors.
Joe was a laborer and worked in the electrical and carpentry fields. He was a “Jack of all trades” and was always there to lend a hand if anyone needed help fixing something in the neighborhood.
Joe enjoyed sports, he played softball with the Barnaby Mooseheads, and was part of the team when they won a league championship. An avid outdoorsman, Joe enjoyed the woods, hunting and fishing and trips to the camp. He had a green thumb and loved gardening.
Joe’s grandchildren were everything to him. He loved to share his knowledge and passions with them.
Joe is survived by his wife: Brenda; daughter: Tammy Watt (Rodney) of Barnaby, NB; sons: Joey (Krista) of Keswick Ridge, NB and Toby (Shannon) of Steeves Mountain, NB; grandchildren: Avery, Skylar, Amber, Erin, Olivia, Liam, Holden and Hadley; sisters: Margaret Stewart of Craigville, NB and Rosemary Trevors of Moncton, NB; brothers: Reginald of Red Deer, AB, Carmen of Craigville, NB, Gordon of Nelson – Miramichi, NB and Brian of Douglasfield, NB, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Joe is predeceased by brothers: Calvin, Charles, Norman Jr., Donald and Carl; sisters: Norma and Marie.
At Joe’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service.
