Joseph Francis Chessie
1945-2022
Joey Chessie, formerly of Newmarket, York Co., NB, passed away on
February 3, 2022 at W.G. Bishop Nursing Home in Minto, NB, where Joey
made his home for the past several years and received such kind and
loving care. He was born in 1945, a son of the late Frank and Mary
(Donnelly) Chessie.
Joey is survived by a brother Albert Chessie (Carol), Chipman, NB; two
sisters-in-law Valerie Mazerolle, Fredericton and Dawn Chessie, York
Mills, NB; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Harold
Chessie and Johnnie Chessie.
There will be no visitation or funeral service at this time. A
graveside service will be held in the spring at St. Patrick’s
New Extension Cemetery, Newmarket, NB.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Joey, the family
has suggested the W.G. Bishop Nursing Home.
