Joseph Elgin Bedford Lunn
February 11, 1971 – August 3, 2022
It is with overwhelming sadness and peace we say farewell to an amazing human that left a mark on so many hearts.
Joe was a son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. As many may know Joe was a heart transplant recipient and this gift gave us all extra time with him. Joe has requested that those who knew him, celebrate his life. Play some music and sing along. Gather for games and laughter. Have a fire and hold your glass high. Most importantly Joe asks that if you have not signed up to be an organ donor, please do so. It changed his life and those around him.
He is survived by his mother Pearl, sisters Treina and Vierlyn. His children Terri-Lynn, Steven, Danial and Tristin (Linds), his step children and other chosen family members that are too numerous to name. He also leaves Sheri, his queen and final love.
He is predeceased by his father Bedford and brother-in-law Mike.
A celebration of his life will be held on August 13, 2022 at O’Connor Community Centre at 1pm.
At his request “come if you can, come as you are, pull up a chair, shake your neighbours hand, hug, cry if you must but please leave smiling. I loved you all and you were good for my heart.” Joe.
