Joseph Coady 19472022

Joseph Coady
1947-2022
On Thursday, March 10, 2022, Joseph Coady of Charlottetown
passed away at the age of 74 years. Beloved husband of Pat; dear
father of Jason, Jennifer, and Jonathan; loving Poppy to Marley, Jack,
and Sam; proud brother of Cathie, Mike, and Bernie; and special
father-in-law to Kim and Maria. Joseph was predeceased by his parents,
Eugene and Mary.
Joseph will be fondly remembered by the
Coady, Redmond, Bell, Burgess, Robison, Davey, MacIsaac, Duffy, and
MacAulay families.
Joseph devoted most of his working life
to municipal government with the Village of Cornwall, the Community of
Sherwood, and the City of Charlottetown. Saturdays with his children
were spent making lists of items to be fixed on Mondays. Joseph was
also particular about a few things. He liked shined shoes, clean cars,
and being early. And Joseph loved his family. If you needed something,
he was always there.
Joseph joins his special daughter,
Jennifer. He would be happy about that.
Resting at the
Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home where a private
visitation for family will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on
Monday, March 14th from St. Pius X Church, Charlottetown at 2:00 p.m.
( half capacity to a maximum of 200 people). Interment later in the
Roman Catholic Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to
the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation.
